Abbigail Peters,  L.Ac. is a board certified acupuncturist and clinical herbalist with a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her work stems from a deep desire to help people overcome physical as well as emotional challenges to improve their health and well being. Abby assesses patients holistically by taking a detailed history, evaluating diet and lifestyle, and customizing each client's care.   

Abby studied at the University of Iowa, completing all of the required biomedical education before enrolling in the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine program in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1990, the College is the oldest school of it's kind in the State of Texas and has been twice ranked among the top 3 TCM schools in the country. While in school, she worked as a nurse's aide in the emergency room of a teaching hospital. This background has helped to shape and inform her work as a clinician.

Originally from Clinton, Iowa, Abby has grown up with a family of health care providers and an enormous amount of support. When away from the office, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and traveling.
